⁸ “We both had dreams,” they answered, “but there is no one to interpret them.”^(A)

Then Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God?^(B) Tell me your dreams.”

¹⁶ “I cannot do it,” Joseph replied to Pharaoh, “but God will give Pharaoh the answer he desires.”^(A)

³⁸ So Pharaoh asked them, “Can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the spirit of God^[a]?”^(A)

³⁹ Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you,^(A) there is no one so discerning and wise as you.^(B)

¹⁴ God said to Moses, “I am who I am.^[a] This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am^(A) has sent me to you.’”

¹⁵ God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord,^[a] the God of your fathers^(A)—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob^(B)—has sent me to you.’

¹² Now go;^(A) I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”^(B)

¹⁵ You shall speak to him and put words in his mouth;^(A) I will help both of you speak and will teach you what to do.

²⁷ The Lord said to Aaron, “Go into the wilderness to meet Moses.” So he met Moses at the mountain^(A) of God and kissed^(B) him.
